Periodontitis: from diagnosis, to risk to treatment and beyond

This module covers every aspect of managing the periodontitis patient from recognising the disease, the risk, non-surgical therapy, treatment adjunct, how to achieve successful treatment, and how to maintain the patient long term, including Nutrional and behavioural therapy
Periodontal Regeneration & Lasers
October 7th £1250
Covering the scope of principals of periodontal regeneration, which materials to use, types of flaps from minimally invasive to extensive, and how to use lasers to improve outcomes in periodontal therapy. This includes regenerative techniques and other adjuncts
Peri-implantitits and soft-tissue management
November 24th £1250
This day goes in depth into the management of peri-implanttiis, both non-surgical and surgical, using regenerative materials, during implants and flapless and flapped treatments using lasers. It will also cover the soft-tissue work needed to help bring about successful implant therapy. This day complements to recession day where we teach you how to graft.
Gingival recession and root coverage

Understand the aetiology behind recession and how to manage it successfully. What surgical procedure will work best in which situation, what materials can you use, and how to carry out different procedures including tunnels and grafts.
Gummy Smiles : Crown lengthening, Lip repositioning
February 2nd £1250
What causes gummy smiles, can they corrected, and if so how? Cosmetic and functional crown lengthening, using traditional surgical techniques and also minimally invasive flapless procedures including lasers. Lip repositioning surgery will also be covered as an alternative and addition to crown lengthening.
